Are you dreaming of those long summer days and cool, breezy summer evenings, sat enjoying a bottle of wine?
Do you find it difficult to choose the right wine for such occasions? Well it doesn’t have to be a struggle with Planet Provence’s quick guide. Here are our tips on how to choose your must-have wines to please everyone… or almost.
Now what’s important here is that we don’t want to officially select wines but moreover give you some hints on how to better select your wines for your summer fun.
Our first tip is to remember that summer fun doesn’t necessarily mean chilled white or rosé wine. What people tend to forget is that red wine isn’t always synonymous with cold, winter evenings. Lighter bodied red wines can match perfectly well with long summer days and can even be chilled! By doing this, red wine drinkers are kept happy and are more than often surprised at how delicious it is. So give it a try!
Our second tip is to try a lighter bodied white wine such as a Clairette. These wines are fragrant, fruity and delicate and will definitely please the palette when the sun is shining.
And finally, a rosé from Provence with its fresh aromas will always go well over the summer. The best rose wine is the one you prefer
