5 Days in Provence

Dine at your leisure.

After a long day of exploring, you arrive at your 4* hotel. This beautiful and luxurious accommodation will be yours for the duration of the tour.
Day 2: Wine Tasting in Alpilles
Morning: Near the village of Les Baux de Provence, visit the monument Carrières de Lumières. Those former quarries dug out men since the Romans offer the visitor amazing thematic art and music exhibitions. After this artistic interlude, experience a tasting at a nearby winery. Promoted to AOC status since 1995, “Les Baux de Provence” is known for its high quality red and rosé wines made predominantly from Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre. Since 85 percent of the appellation is produced using either organic or biodynamic methods, the local winemakers work to make out of this AOC France’s first officially organic appellation.
If you fancy, you may enjoy a lunch at a typical bistro in the historic village of St. Rémy de Provence.

Afternoon: Following lunch, walk down the streets of St. Rémy, where you’ll find art galleries and local products. Known for its quality of life and beautiful landscapes, St Rémy has hosted Nostradamus and Van Gogh among other renowned names.

Dine at your leisure.

Day 5: Parisian breakfast
Conclude these 5 days in Provence with breakfast in the hotel. Following breakfast, your guide will transfer you to Marseille airport or the Aix-en-Provence train station.

You may add a cooking class of Provencal fine cuisine with a chef local to the region, if you desire.
